...the impulse in my chest was to do what I had been transfixed by when in the Apple store on the big screen the months earlier Aerial photograph "nobodies painting that I thought" I remember thinking and there's a good reason nobodies painting it because its painstaking complex. So I started it, it took almost a year. My reference and inspiration was a photograph by Jeffery Milstein of New York. Believe it or not it's not a drone shot - Jeffrey flew his plane for the photo's way before drones existed. I loved the colours the shapes.
